Doodlegrip® began as a fire fan designed in late 2013 by the artist “Doodle” and manufactured and distributed by Forged Creations, who continues to handcraft the fans to this day. Since its inception, the Doodlegrip® name has expanded to include offerings such as training tapestries, clothing lines, online fan challenges and tutorials, and some of the strongest and most reliable HDPE practice fans on the market.
More than just a fan design, Doodlegrip® has served as a key or a catalyst to many, with their nearly universal feel and shape, and a growing community surrounding them, helping artists everywhere to truly unlock their own flow and path.

Details
Each Doodlegrip® fan has always been and still is made by hand with constant care and precision. Five wicks on five individual spines provide isolation points on both the outside wicks and the center wick, as the spines let your fingers assist the fan with rotations. A 180° spread on the wicks grants a clean, true “S” relation as well as distributing the weight to the center of the fan, allowing for balance and strength all the way through, while the smooth, curved spine allows for rolling around the body and arms and gives a sleek profile to the frame.
The distinctive smooth, rounded handle encourages easy and fluent transitions through different hand grips, and the fans come with the choice of 3 different ring sizes. The 1.5” ring is designed to allow for two fingers in and two fingers out of the ring for more control. 1.75” and 2” Doodlegrip® fans are also available for spinners who have larger fingers or who prefer to spin their fans on 3 fingers.
